How to Blue Cheese Tortellini
Heat cooking oil in large frying pan on medium. Add chicken. Cook for 2 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Remove with slotted spoon to large plate. Cover to keep warm.
Add onion and garlic to same frying pan. Cook for about 5 to 10 minutes, stirring often, until onion is softened.
Sprinkle with flour. Heat and stir for 1 minute. Slowly add milk and broth, stirring constantly, until smooth. Heat and stir for 5 minutes intil boiling and thickened. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add cheese, pepper and chick. Stir until cheese is melted.
Combine water and salt in Ducth oven. Bring to a boil. Add pasta. Boil, uncovered, for 6 minutes , stirring occasionally. Add broccoli. Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tortellini is tender but firm and broccoli is tender-crisp. Add to chicken mixture. Stir. Makes about 6 1/2 cups (1.6 L)
