How to Fettuccine Stroganoff
Heat cooking oil in large frying pan on me dium-high. Add beef. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until starting to turn brown. Remove with slotted spoon to plate. Cover to keep warm. Reduce heat to medium.
Add onion and garlic to same frying pan. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, striring occasionally, until onion starts to soften.
Add next 3 ingredients. Cook for about 5 minutes, strring occasionally, until liquid is evaporated.
Add flour. Heat and stir for 1 minute. Add broth. Heat and stir until boiling and thickened. Add beef. Stir. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes until beef is tender.
Combine water and salt in Dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Add pasta. Boil, uncovered, for 11 to 13 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender but firm. Drain. Add to beef mixture. Stir.
Add sour cream. Heat and stir until heated through. Makes about 6 cups (1.5 L)
